Master of Science
The Master of Science has been created with unique programs designed for those looking for a higher level
of scientific learning (MSc Research training program), as well as those seeking a focus on business and industry
training to enhance readiness for the employment market (MSc Professional entry program).
The three key components include:
- Science core discipline study
- Professional Tools
- Project - either industry or research related depending on the choice of program
Master of Science - Professional entry program
The Master of Science Professional entry program combines job-relevant modules in business and communication skills, with
core science discipline study. Four Professional entry 'tagged' streams are available:
Within the Master of Science Professional entry streams, students are offered an 'Industry project'.
Master of Science - Research training program
The Master of Science - Research training program has been created to offer graduates a new pathway into a research career and/or PhD studies. Students will engage in a significant research project and discipline-specific and workplace-focused coursework. This approach allows students to undertake a research project in a listed discipline, as well as a range of coursework science subjects and Professional Tools.
