A list of subjects in courses administered by the Graduate School of Science can be found in the
'Course & Subject Handbook'.
Subject selection
Online subject change requests can be made by going to the Student portal, clicking on the 'Admin' tab and following
the 'Add / Drop / Change My Subjects' hyperlink.
Subject changes
Students should be aware of the procedures involved in changing subjects, prerequisite and corequisite requirements,
and the impact of critical dates on their intended changes.
Entry into many subjects requires the successful completion of prior subjects (prerequisites), or enrolment in concurrent subjects (corequisites).
It the responsibility of the student to ensure necessary prerequisites, or corequisites have been satisfied before enrolling into a subject.
Enrolment into a subject which has not satisfied (or waived) prerequisite, or corequisite requirements may be cancelled by the University,
without further notice to the student. This is not deemed grounds for special consideration, or other concessions (even with a waiver).
Students who wish to withdraw from a subject (including a summer semester subject) are advised to notify the Graduate School of Science in writing.
Note: Advising the subject coordinator or department is not sufficient.
